Point Blank: Republicrats (The coffee has been brewing but we still refuse to wake up!)

Point Blank: “RepublicRats”
From radio, television, and snail mail flyers we all know what time of the year it is. It’s one of the most confusing and stressful times of a year when it does come around. Its election time; or should I say (s)election time. “Oh Aiwal! Here you go! Why is it confusing? I’m not confused about anything” many would say. If they only knew. During every election season the confusion, stupidity, and ignorance shows itself with clear visibility. I’ve been a student of a great teacher for a while now and I’m currently learning the importance of rising over emotions into a higher thinking. From the small studying of this I’ve completed, I vividly see how many of us are not thinking men and women. From my observations through hearing and seeing campaign advertisements, it is clear these politicians play on the majority of the people’s emotions. They know and understand the majority of people are not thinkers, but emotional respondents. They know many of us respond off of what sounds good and “tickles our fancy”. I really wonder about those who are so “gung ho” to claim a certain political party without thought; just pure emotion. And voters of both these parties get played every election process. Apparently the democrats are more liberal and republicans are more conservative. Not claiming either side of the foolishness I ask how a person can simply be on one side of the fence. They both can have valid points, but as life is there has to be balance. I agree with some liberal views as government should assist those who need help, but everything unmoral should not be sheltered under the liberal umbrella. I agree with some conservative views that people should be motivated to do for self, but the high tone of certain things you are striving to save and conserve are just straight up on the line of slavery and racism. I don’t want to conserve any founding principle that contradicts itself (i.e. “All Men Are Created Equal” but a 13th amendment had to be created). Seriously, get a life, learn cultures, and realize you share the earth with many people; or vanish. The crazy thing is while the voters of these parties feud and bicker, the democrat and republican they voted for meet and play golf together making decisions at dinner tables.

Point Plank: Has anyone taken the time to think? Maybe I can reverse the insanity here. Since I have been on earth I’ve heard mostly every candidate run on the promise of better healthcare, schools, and jobs. Let us examine this! Your beloved Americans are sicker than ever with more cancer, heart disease, and ill conditions. The education just belongs in a toilet and continues to get worse. And the jobs many of you get angry about not having are floated across the oceans to what many of you degrade and define as a “third world” country; by friends and sponsors of your (s)elected officials. So how long do you allow your emotions to be the scapegoat of a pipedream? “I Have A Dream” was one of the greatest speeches made in our history, but the reality of a dream is that we have to wake up from it and base the reality on the mathematics given. For many years the (s)elected officials have tried to convince many that 1+1=3. And our emotions will convince us that this is correct. But thinking men and women will prove that 1+1 most definitely=2. So during this season of emotional persuasion, I ask that you THINK and freely cast a ballot that you put thought into. Peace
